Success Story

Closeness that scales

Women's football has something rare: real closeness between players and fans. FC Viktoria Berlin turned that into a brand that grows every matchday, and digital ticketing is how they scale it without cooling it down.

How FC Viktoria Berlin built a digital-first club

Six founders rethinking women's football.

The founders come from startups, and they run FC Viktoria Berlin like one. Digital from day one, close to the fans, and built to grow.

  • Digital from day one

Ticketing has run on vivenu since the first season. It started with a question the club still asks itself: analog or digital, like every other club or something of our own? The six founders, all from startups, went digital and stayed deliberate about it. In the lower divisions of women's football, that thinking is still rare, and the gap is exactly where the club found its edge.

  • The matchday, made predictable

Most fans buy within 24 hours of kickoff, and turnout often rides on the weather. The vivenu dashboard shows the club its own patterns, so it knows days out roughly how many fans to expect. That number sets the staffing: security, medical, food and beverage. Guesswork turns into a matchday the team can actually plan.

  • Scale that funds growth

FC Viktoria Berlin has to grow, and that is on purpose. Growth pays for a bigger matchday and for putting the players on full professional contracts in the second division. When the founders took over the team, the brand was a blank page, and filling it is the real work. That runs on ticketing that is digital, easy to use, and unmistakably theirs. The target: A sold-out stadium in Lichterfelde.

We come from the startup world. From the start, our question was: how can women's football be done differently? Digital is a big part of that, a USP that makes us different and more attractive.

The infrastructure behind every matchday

Ticketing that works in the background and puts the brand up front.

  • Closeness that travels digitally

    Closeness that travels digitally

Women's football runs on closeness: players sign autographs and light up when the stands fill. The club builds on that digitally instead of replacing it. Every ticket becomes a direct channel to reach that fan again, for merchandise or the next big match. A box office never gives you that.

  • The main sponsor in the wallet

The main sponsor in the wallet

Tickets land in the fan's wallet, with a push before kickoff. Riding along in that wallet design is the main sponsor, Scalable Capital. No paper ticket puts a sponsor in a fan's pocket like that.

  • Personalized tickets as a brand moment

The fan's own name sits on the ticket, inside the team's design. Every detail looks and sounds like FC Viktoria Berlin. The ticket stops being a receipt and turns into something a fan keeps.
